yep, i'm thinking about keeping authenticity and so going for black decals, but if i did this, i would also need to change the graphics a bit, as decals on the JPm 7 string were not exactly the same as on a P3 JPM (especially at the upper and lower horns...). At the mo, it's kind of a 'mix' of both worlds, it's white paint with black decals (where the JPM P3 was black paint with ivory decals as you know) but with the exact graphics of the P3. So that's why i'm thinking about a gold logo headstock...
Regarding the pickups, it's an Evolution 7 in the bridge and a Air Norton 7 in the neck. I hate to say this, but don't like the Evo 7 at all, much prefered the original
bridge pickup of the 7620

.
Regarding the neck, yes it will be changed to reflect the original JPM 7 one, meaning : it will have
ebony fretboard, white binding, and offset dots. It's the last thing on the list of the project

I also have white bobin toppers so that pickups are b&w just like original one, but never fitted toppers before so i don't know if it will be "clean" enough for me to keep it, i don't want it to look like "home made" as the rest of the guitar finish will be spot on

I'll give it a try and see.

I also have volume and tone knobs just like other JPMs, and the other thing that won't be accurate is the knobs position, and switch. I changed it to a 3 way one with the same settings as a 6 string Ibanez JPM, but it's still a "RG style" switch.
For orders, why not, i actually thought of this when i was doing the guitar the other day
I also have everything needed to do a P1 or a P2
