My latest 7-string project

Hi all,
It's not finished yet, but I thought you might like a look anyway.
7-string, 22 fret neck, Jazzmaster shaped hollow body, 2 humbuckers with a neck single coil aswell (through one 5-way and one 3-way), Vol and two tones (one tone for the 5-way and the two humbuckers, the other tone for the single coil), jem-style jack socket, recessed tunamatic bridge with thru-body stringing. It's gonna be stained black and then have a few coats of lacquer which I'm hoping to leave as a matt finish, so it'll look alot different once it's finished.
Cheers,
Rich

If you're not prepared to keep making these for the rest of us I don't think you should be allowed to taunt us with these projects!

Looking good though.

That's looking pretty cool so far. What colour/s are you planning on refinishing it in?

Looks good so far!

You are going to recess the tunamatic? So, to adjust the bridge height you'll have to remove the bridge?

With such a long distance from behind the bridge to the ferrules, I wonder if the strings will vibrate.

You don't need to remove the bridge to adjust the bridge height because the bridge posts have a slot in the top, so you can turn them with a screwdriver. As for the strings behind the bridge vibrating, it's not something I'd thought of, to be honest. But the distance is shorter than the traditional fender jaguar bridge arrangement, so I wouldn't have thought it'll be a problem.
Thanks for all the positive comments everyone.
