Excellent. Have fun when you come over here, and I can't wait to see the pictures.

Yeah, fun , I had fun when I was in UK last time (three weeks ago). Because of f...ing traffic jam I missed concert of A Perfect Circle, one of my favorite bands. I was really angry. It took me about 1.5 hour to get from Reading to London, I hate english highways.

Eeek.

It's only about 40 minutes by train. That really sucks.

Hey, I have a used RG1077XLRB-beautiful guitar. (Yeah Rich Harris) I like the pickups, but I think I want to have the wiring changed so that I can use both humbuckers at the same time. Has anyone ever done this, or heard of this happening, or have any experience with this and what it sounds like and knows if it even works at all?!

As I promised here you can find some very bad photos http://www.equino-x.com/images/concrete/.
I will try to post some better pictures in short time.
As for those sound clips recorded with Vetta HD (with 2.03 firmware),of course I can record something, but problem is that I have to take this head home and use just direct recording. For home recording I'm using PODxt Pro with Studio modellers (Mod Pro, Echo Pro, Filter Pro).

Hey, I'm just wondering, how does the XL neck feel compared to the UV? Based on my memory, it seems that the XL neck is much longer (no doubt) and it seems to be flatter compared to the UV. Did you have problems adjusting to the longer neck scale?

By the way, I think the 2077 will look awesome with white pickups...anyone knows where one could get white pickup bobbins in white? I checked universal jems, but they don't have white bobbins for 7string pickups...

Posted a pic of one of my 1077's in this thread http://www.jemsite.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=21732
if you wanna see the finish in natural light. It was kinda cloudy outside, but they came out well...

The neck is extremely comfy and the tension is perfect on them for me. I use 10-60's tuned to B,E,A,D,G,B,E.

frets

what are the frets like on that neck I want to know. I was thinking of getting a baritone, but shyed away due to the frets being enormous so shred soloing becomes a bit of a hastle when you're used to 24 3/4 ESP necks. I'm looking into it with the 7's though because of a few people on here complaining about not enough tension on the low B w/ the standard 25.5 scale.

The frets are the same size as any other jumbo fret including ESP's. Maybe you mean the fret-spacing? In that case, you really only notice it down in the lower end of the neck, and it's minimal...

yea

thats exactly what i mean.... 27 is a big difference from 24 3/4. When I played the viper baritone it felt huge like playing bass. However the tension was amazing for riffs.

this is a dying thread, but...

played miailanodivino's xl 7 last weekend- it was that one they made for like three months before switching it to the prestige 1077xl designation, and it was a GORGEOUS guitar. I'm in love... As for the feel, you can definately tell you're on a longer neck, but i just got this really stupid grin on my face while playing licks- something about that slight extra stretch feels really good. Rusty Cooley licks just ain't gonna happen, but i can't do that stuff at speed anyway, lol.

Aside from that, i didnt feel slowed down by the scale at all- a little lost in terms of where to put myf ingers, but an hour or two on it would fix that.
