My Sevens (and a big spider)

I'm going to post up some pics of my 7's (there's only three) and figured if I didn't start the thread I'd never get around to it. So, some pics.

This is the front of my Chris Woods 7, which is basically a replacement body and a 7620 neck. Dots in the fretboard are purpleheart, and headstock has a purpleheart overlay. Body is alder, purpleheart and crotch walnut, with purpleheart cavity covers on back.

This is the Woods and the 2027 together last night, in my rather messy practice room:

This is a spider I found outside this morning. His (or her) body was about an inch and a half long. The biggest spider I've ever seen that wasn't a tarantula.

I'll get some shots of the group (the Woods, the 2027, and the 727) together later when I have tomorrow's soup finished

jim

now I'm not afraid of spiders at all, in fact most of the time I just grab em by the hand and toss 'em outside or just use my thumb and squish it, but if I saw that thing on the wall I would most likely $hit myself and run screaming like a little girl....

LOL! That things is HUGE! That's big enough to take the broom away from you and smack you with it.

Anyway, more guitars. Here's the Woods from the side, so you can see the alder and purpleheart a little better

Here's the three amigos together; 2027, Woods, and 727

And finally, a shot of all three from the back. You can see the difference between the maple necks of the Ibanezes and the mahogany neck of the Carvin here pretty easily in this shot.
