New Carvin 727C
I ordered this one back in February, and just got her yesterday. 2 piece mahogany neck through with a tung oil finish, triple step blue quilt on a mahogany body. Ebony board,
abalone inlays
and medium jumbo
stainless frets
. She looks killer, and plays beautifully. It sounds great as well; the stock Carvin pickups really come into their own in the mahogany.

Re: New Carvin 727C
It's a licensed Floyd, so I'm guessing it wouldn't do too well under extreme abuse. I don't use trems that way though, so it's good enough for me. The guitar itself sustains really well

Re: New Carvin 727C
very nice jim. it looks like you could probably swap that licensed floyd for an OFR-7. may want to consider it. Anyway, beautiful gutiar man. awesome quilt top

Re: New Carvin 727C
I've heard an OFR might not fit without some routing.

Sexy! Will they sell the same headstock and tuner configuration in a 6string model?
