New guitar: RG2127X-TKF

I just scored me a new guitar today!! I had one of these babies before and sold it when I needed the cash. Basically it's the RG2027x in a different color and made only for the Japanese domestic market. I'll get some pics soon, but this thing needs some serious fixing up. electronics are fine, but I'm thinking of stripping the finish and just leaving it as a natural mahogany body. The current color ain't doing anything for me and it's some some chips and dings. Also looking to maybe mod this sucker up, cause I can't stand the stockiness of it (I feel strange as it's my ONLY prestige in my collection). It's already got the Piezo going and it's a 7 string.

I was initially thinking of gutting this and putting the piezo into my Universe, but I think that'd be too much BS to deal with.

I do a lot of shopping in Japan. This one is going to end up being a 2127X-MAH once I get rid of the ugly finish on it.

Ah, so it was you who got that one from IshiBashi. I recognise the worn saddles. A few of us over at SevenString tried to get it, there was talk about it on this thread which contains some interesting thoughts on the trem. I'm glad it went to a fellow forum member!

This is possibly my favourite finish on any guitar, but I can understand your thoughts on refinishing. Pics upon completion please!

I think that one appeared in April first but they wouldn't sell it, they said they had mistakenly listed it and it was undergoing repairs or something...
