Front and back have been sanded down, tone and 5-way removed and neck pickup has been taken out as well.

Gaaah, that thing looks sweet! I should probably sand mine down as well at some point - the feeling of bare wood is unbeatable.

I just googled pearl white compared to others and it'll be my choice

Of course I'm gonna keep the sides black, and one other paint mod that I won't say

Keep it as it is, I actually like the look of the black sides, very unique, and contrasts well.

I like Robb's idea, but maybe burst it with a black stain, I reckon that would look great with the solid black sides.

As much as I love the feel of the natural wood, I still look at it and feel like something's missing.

I may just burst it black and coat it with a transparent brown like on the S5470's (or whatever one it is)
