PAF Pro 7 - Does it exist??

I know this question must've been asked like a million or so times, but I've heard rumors about DiMarzio releasing a 7 string version of the PAF Pro...

I'm guessing that it shares the same sort of existence as the Air Norton 7, availiable to the public but not publicized by DiMarzio (online at least).

Does anyone out there know anything about it? Or maybe I just imagined the whole thing

There is a PAF7 and it is on the DiMarzio site.

PAF Pro 7

Well, I know about the PAF7, but I heard a blurb somewhere about the PAF Pro in a 7 string format... like i said, maybe i misinterpreted something or merely read it wrong.

Well, I know if there was another 7 string pickup based on a 6 string model, i'd base it on the PAF Pro...

Speaking of which, does anyone who owns the PAF7 know if it can handle those singing, overdriven neck pickup tones as well as the PAF Pro?

I'm about 95% sure there is not a PAFpro7 at this time.

I guess I was pretty sure there wasn't one as well, just wanted to make sure, y'know?

I put a PAF7 and a Tone Zone 7 (neck and bridge) in my UV777BK, it was a HUGE improvement. I found the stockers (no matter who's supposed to be making them) very boring and bland.

I highly recommend the PAF7 in the neck, it's got a smooth buttery sound. :silly:

Thanks man, that's just what i was looking for...

I read your posts in the other PAF7 thread too, so that kinda convinced me to get the Tone Zone7/PAF7 combo.

Cool! Let me know what you think.

So far I've been very pleased. Just as an FYI I've also tried a Duncan SH-1 (JB) 7 and that was very very nice too. Warm, thick, not too nasally.

Food for thought.
