Or it could be a neck just like the Ibanez 7/13-string doubleneck in the post below. *The neck would be no wider than an ordinary neck, but the nut would be cut to double each string by an octave, just like a 12-string (with the exception of the two
high strings, which would just be doubled in standard pitch).
As 7-strings become more and more popular, I think it's safe to say that it's only a matter of time before 14-strings begin to pop up. *However, I think it'll be awhile before we see a
production model 14-string. *I'd say Schecter or BC Rich would most likely introduce a production model before Ibanez does, but I hope I'm wrong!
