pickups for a basswood 7string

i bought the RG1527 sometime back and will eventually change the pickups,i was wondering which one to go for.I like bands varying from killswitch engage,the haunted,shadows fall and ofcourse the mighty vai,but i do like to shred a bit as well ,something with good harmonics too.Do you guys think the evo in the bridge position would suit my needs.I have no idea about the neck position.thanks
