Pickups for RG2027XVV - help me finally decide
Right here's the plan :
Blaze II or
Tone zone
7 for the bridge (whichever is heaviest)
Sustainiac transducer in neck and a single
coil pickup
(cant find much info on em)
Can anyone who has tried these pups please post there opinions
cheers

Pickups for RG2027XVV
I havenīt really tried the blazeII so I donīt know much of it but iīve heard that itīs been compared to Steveīs Special.
Iīve got a JPM P3 with a Steveīs Special and a Rg2027 with a Tone Zone and I would say that the TZ is definately heavier. Iīd say that the Steveīs Special is harsher... but Iīm not too good at these kind of things since Iīm not a huge gearhead. And of course weīre not talking about Steveīs Special here.
But one thing Iīm sure about is that the ToneZone sounds frikinī awesome on my 2027!!!

Heavy is good indeed! If you get a tone zone tell me if it really is heavy, as I'd like to find out seeing as I am thinking of putting one in a guitar I plan to put together... But as I've said before, the blazeII does me fine.
Good luck man!
