Pics of my stripped S540-7

Hi all,
I did this to my S540 about a year ago because the original black finish was cracking, and I was super happy with the results. It's actually a two piece mahogany body, but the join is really hard to see so it looks like one piece. I also moved the volume pot because I kept knocking it when I was playing, and replaced the bridge pickup with a Seymour Duncan S5.
Cheers,
Rich

Well, since about 1991 actually The latest one, the S7320, is available worldwide. Indonesian built I believe, ZR trem, Axis pickups. Otherwise try to get a 540S7/S540-7/S7420.

Are any of the older ones Japanese built?

Re: Pics of my stripped S540-7

All of them IIRC. There's also a S7420FM, but that one is pretty rare I believe. The 540S7 and S540-7 are the same guitar, only with old and new name.
