Question

planning on buying an S7420,need some help

Hi I'm Dave from israel

I'm going to sell my Jackson RR1 to get my first 7 string guitar
so i'm planning on the S7420
it seems the right choise because of the mahogany body
so any comments on this guitar?
its a blind purchase because there are none of these guitars here to try out

I'm looking for one without the maple top beacuse i wanna strip the finnish anyway

stock pickups will be replaced immediately
im planning on emg's but have a hard time on deciding on wich model
81-7 or 707 in the bridge?

heard that the bridge is a piece of S**T
and based on my expirience with the 6 string version of it i really hated it
so i have 2 question
can i fit an orignial floyd rose 7 instead the TRS7 without modification?
is the Lo-pro 7 really worth the modifications done to the body?

thanks
Dave

The Floyd7 should be a direct replacement for the TRS7. I would get the S first, and make sure the Floyd has the right length block.
