Possible RG7620

Hey New to the forum but long time reader. I have a simple question. I own a GRX-720 8^( and i was thinking of upgrading to a RG 7620. Ive read all the reveiws and it seems to be a winner. The local hock shop has one for sale $500 Candian. but the guyz at the hock shop dont know what model it is. So ill give you some specs. It has Jumbo Frets, 24 frets. And it has a Floyd Rose trem. Now i dont know if the RG7421 has the floyd rose or if its just the 7620. BUt if you could tell me what ibanez 7 strings have a trem and how you can mayby tell if it is a 7620.

If your local shop actually has a 7420 and you want a 7620, there is one for $400 in the classifieds on harmony-central.com posted today.

The best way to tell, besides the bridge, is to look at the pickup cavities. If it's a 7620 the screw cavities will be triangular. If it's a 7420, they will be more rounded.

The 7620 is superior but the 7420 is a damn fine Japanese made axe too, as long as you're patient with the trem.
