Re: Post your 7-strings!
My two beauties
RG550 have Dimarzio pickups installed and Universe have mirror pickguard changed + Evolution7 in bridge. Sure thing swirls look cooler, but playability is much better on new universes.

Re: Post your 7-strings!
I did something similar to my UV777 recently.
Posted this one in the Prestige/J Custom thread but there are a few 7's in there.

Diverse family you've got there GazTop. Looks like you've got all the sizes and scales covered.

Re: Post your 7-strings!
I'm still waiting on a Rg that has a 24.5 scale length or something smaller than 25.5 but i don't think that'll happen anytime soon.
In the meantime i think i got most of it covered, bar a nice 6 string hardtail. I think i'll line up an RGA for that.

Mine is equally beat up but a great guitar. It's not your fault, though. I've never seen such awful paint adhesion on ANYTHING else. It seems as though you could sneeze on a 7620 and a chip of paint will fall off. :P

Some updated pics here~
This 1991 UV7PWH is absolutely dead mint. ZERO FLAWS. I'm afraid to touch it. I'm taking extra special care with it.

Re: Post your 7-strings!
Found it on the GC used gear page last week. Been looking to get an Ibanez 7 for a while, but I don't have the coin for a UV777 (yet)
Being a 2000 model RG7420, I was stunned on how well the previous owner took care of it. There are no blemishes in the paint, no dings, or damage to any of the wood either. I'm already planning on swapping the stock pups out for Dimarzios, and getting it re-painted with the picasso motif!
