How does it handle the high A? What gauge do you use?

PS: Love the wood selection! Congrats again for this beauty!

Re: Post your 7-strings!

Sherman 8 strings are the absolute best available in my book. I use a .006 string for the high A and have no problems at all. Its so awesome adding cool and chimey sus tones to chords.

Re: Post your 7-strings!

Ok so here is a pic of my punishing my ESP M-107. I slapped an EMG Pickup into it and had to replace the low B string tuning peg with one off my Acoustic guitar to handle the heavy 70 gauge string. Lower 6 strings are tuned to E flat standard and top string is Dropped A flat. This was at the Texas Metal fest 2 years ago in Austin, TX.

Nice! I've been tossing up getting one in white. Hows the neck and trem feel together?

I find the neck a bit flat. I wish it were of a more curved nature, but I guess it's easier to make a 3 piece neck like this. It's not too bad in terms of construction. Personally, I find the ZR7 trem to be a bonus. It's easy to use, simple to intonate, and best bit of all, it's very stable.
