I thought about 3 singles, but I never use a middle s/c on it's own, and when I'm playing live I find that I very rarely use the in-between positions either. So I thought I'd go for just the neck and bridge pickups, and I'm just having a volume control with a push-pull pot for the pickup selection (down for bridge, up for neck) - a nice and simple live guitar.
And I've decided to scallop the 'board - that'll be the next job!!

Looks nice!

Instead of a push-pull, maybe consider a push-push. Just in case you want to look a tad more sexy when going from neck to bridge pickup.
