RC7 mahogany and RC8 Coming Soon!

ok so
after scouring the net for a few weeks ive found some rather interesting information1
Rusty is making an RC8 fanned fret production model and a mahogany rc7


Rusty Mahogany, out some time next year, along with the red one

im seriously considering saving up for one of these, i've wanted a 7 for a while and now that ive got a job, i've started earning money and can afford it soon (only 89 hours left:P)

+ its 1000 on evilbay for a white or black American made Dean usa RC7 (Yes, American!)

The RC8 will be High A to Low B the Gauge is 9-42 with a 58 for the low B and 9 For the High A

im really really really excited! is anyone else?

Anyone here ever played the white/black RC7? are they any good?

If I were ever to buy an RC7m I'd want an red one >_< BUt they don't make it

I rather have an Ibanez 7, I like my 1527 but if you want mahogany there are different Ibanezes out there.

its just a superstrat like a vai, rg or jackson soloist!

the 8 has no pictures but look on his website, or search Rusty Cooley 8 on google images

this will be good for dean to finally get out of the whole dimebag thing because i mean, i love dimebag, but his guitars are starting to annoy me

but with the new Vinnie Moore, Micheal Schenker and rust Cooley guitars
Dean could actually start getting more sales and finally start some new shapes and stuff!

ibanez dont only live off vai or satch
and dean shouldn't live off Dimebag, cause its starting to bore people (plus small frets are impossible to play!)

the best thing bout the 7/8's are scale length, super long, extra jumbo frets with Dunlop 6100 frets and the 8 will be fanned!

anyone know how much a license from novax costs? Dean are really going all out!

im super excited already, my band can start doing Meshuggah and original with a low F*

and also you can order any custom color you want, look down th bottom of the xenocide page, the left i think (not sure)

you can get blue, pink and block inlays and stuff

Ah I see thanks! I still feel like it is a little too expensive.

I think in natural finish I sort of agree with C. Thep. I think its just the smaller horn and dot inlays with black headstock on a natural finish guitar that sort of make it ugly. I much prefer it in red as I said before, it looks much more classy especially with the crazy inlays on the first rc7 model

considering its only $1000 for a solid colour finish with rusty's outworld Inlay i personally think thats not too much too ask AND its AMERICAN made!

From what I'm seeing is the Rc7x is the 1000 dollar one but it doesn't come in red, the Rc7G does come in red and that is $2700 with his crazy weird finish. I cant find one priced for a different color paint.

just an FYI the solid color Rc7x is korean made not usa like the original poster stated.

so there is no confusion here is a pic of the back of the headstock of a white one.
