Rerouting an EMG 707 for standard pickups!?

Ok, you EMG freaks are gonna hate me. Im not a fan of EMGs at all, especially 707s, but I absolutely love the Schecter 7 models, specifically the Jeff Loomis model and C-7 Hellraiser.
So if I decided to buy one, I would slap in some DiMarzios. Would that require rerouting, like it does to put 707s in a standard pickup guitar?
I dont care if there would be some holes or what not in the guitar, that really doesnt bother me.
Thanks in advance dudes.

I haven't done it, but I highly doubt it. They route extra out for the EMGs because they are enormous. Getting the smaller standard sized Dimarzios in there shouldn't be a problem. It's like dropping a peanut into a pumpkin.

Good analogy
So would I need rings, or could I just direct-mount them?

It should be a direct swap, although there will be a decent gap there. You could always have a pickup ring fabricated though..
