RG-1077XL VS 7-321?
RG-1077XL - 1000 dollars
7-321 - 500 dollars...
Which one should I get?
Are there big differences, like that the 1077XL is a prestige?
Please help!

Do you need a trem? The 1077 has probably the best trem on the market, which explains part of the price difference. 1077 is made in Japan, so you can expect slightly higher quality...The 1077 has an XL scale with better definition when detunning, although some may argue that it makes soloing more difficult, i myself found it pretty awkward...The 1077 also has better pickups and IMHO it looks better...If you like the XL scale and don't mind/need a trem, go with the 1077, if you prefer hardtails, want to save some money go with the 7321 and mod it to your liking...

Hi!
Thanks for your answer!
I already have a 6-stringed guitar with
Floyd Rose
..
So I have experience in changing strings and tuning..
therefor, I might as well have a Floyd Rose!
The 27" scale is the only thing that worries me..
I like to play fast solos.. BUT, I have a perfect 6-string for that...
Let's just say I play 25% rhythm and 75% "solos"...
and it's not like it's impossible to play a 27" !
I think I'm going for the 1077XL

yea the 7321 for 500 is a rip off anyway, u can pick up a 7421 for under 300.

Yes, but you won't get a bound WizII-7 neck with a 7421.
I've seen 7321s going for around $400 with case, which is not a bad deal at all.

what are the specks on that neck, i always figured the guitar was somewhat of a downgrade in between the 7421 and the grx720

Yeah. It's got the AH p'ups which are on the JS100 and the SA models.
And everything else is like a standard rg320, except for the hardtail.

Well, pickups in my guitars are nearly never stock, so that little difference between the 7321 and the 7421 is negated.
I'll take the "downgrade" to get the bound neck.

I'd be waiting to buy a seven until the RG1527 came out.....I'm really curious to see what that looks like.
