RG 7321 changes for 2007?

if you go to ibanez.com and look at the RG 7321, it seems like they made it string-thru-body... or maybe i just missed this before? anyone help me here? :P

if they did give it string-thru-body, then it´s suddenly a notch better than before...

The strings have always been through the body on it. Unfortunately it's been made in Indonesia since at least 2005. That's the improvement they should make: move production back to Korea.

wow... i never knew it was string thru body, i thought it was string-thru-bridge...

and yeah, from what i´ve heard, the indonesian ones are pretty hit-and-miss, and you might get a lemon...

There are decent ones, but be sure to play the EXACT one you plan on buying. Or just get a Schecter.

Re: RG 7321 changes for 2007?

The 7321 isn't as bad as I though it would be. After Guitar Center sold the used 7620 I had on hold, I had trouble finding another 7620 or 7621 for the same price I was getting it for. So, kept checking back in and they got a used 7321 in. I was skeptical at 1st, played it for a while, and for the price and all the freebies I got them to throw in, it was a great deal. The one I got was marked as used, but had literally no wear on it at all, it was in better condition than a new 7321 they also had in, which they were selling for almost $150 more. I guess the person that traded it in didn't use it or didn't want it. There was not a trace of fret wear or a single scratch, ding, or dent anywhere. It is string-thru, I don't have a problem with that. I didn't really want a floating trem for my 7 anyway.

yeah, i´m sick of floating trems now... it´s so... inflexible... not the actual trem, but what the trem does to your possibilities... sure, you get a whammy bar, but at what cost?
