RG/S necks

Ok so heres my inquiry... well actually first, checking on specs of RG's and S's, the scale lengths are the same (25.5"), RG's and S's have the same AANJ, am I correct? and RG's have 24 frets where S's have 22, can you swap an RG 24 fret neck to an S-series guitar and vise-versa? (btw, this goes for the 7-strings AND the 6's as well).

No you can not directly swap the necks because the scale length dictates the fret spacing each neck would have the same fret spacing as they are fretted for a 25.5 inch scale. See http://www.dougsparling.com/cgi-bin/fretcalc.cgi for the calculation. So the 22 fret neck ends at the same spot of the 22 fret on the 24 fret neck. You could route the body deigned for the 22 fret neck to get the 24 fret neck to fit. I do not know but there may be a way to laminate some wood at the heal of the 22 fret neck to get it to fit properly in a 24 fret body.

well, not if u want it to fret in tune anyway!! if ur after a completely un-intonateable and erm unusual guitar then yeah go for it :P

Yeah, this is something I would like to know too! I was thinking how a maple neck would affect my S520EX guitar...
