RG1527- "DISCONTINUED - SOLD OUT"

As per rich's site.
Are they really discontinuted? will they be replacing it with a different model? Will they be revising it? Or are they just cancelling it?

Thats madness! If they have discontinued it was a mistake, they seem to sell quite a few of them.

No, they really did discontinue it. I asked the same question yesterday, in this thread, http://www.jemsite.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=35585 , and Rich posted that they were replacing it with the RG1527RB in Royal Blue. Sounds pretty sweet if you ask me Now only if they would add an Ultra or Wizard II neck it would be perfect, a gloss black finish wouldn't hurt either

Sounds like it's the same model (RG1527) but just in a diferent color, so the price should remain the same. And so far the speculation is that it will be more of a solid Royal blue like the 1077xl, 2077xl, 7620's

awesome... so theres a quality new mid priced rg7 thats not sparkly purple (c'mon we all knew that was the real color)

Brutal. i can get a RG1527 in the same color as the RG7620 i just sold lol.

The neck is different too it's a 5 peice maple/wenge slab job and the dots are now smaller too...looks classy as hell.
