RG1527 vs RG7620 vs RG2077XL

So, what are the main diferences between these 3 guitars besides the longer scale in one and two not being produced anymore? What are each one's advantages?

Re: RG1527 vs RG7620 vs RG2077XL

correct me if im wrong but im pretty sure that the rg 7620 and the rg 2077xl come with better pickups such as the new 7 dimarzios, while the 1527 come with v7 v8.

also the 7620 and the older model 2077 comes with lo pro edges if you like that feel of the tremelo better than the edge pro but i think there pretty much all great guitars and you will be pleased with either one, the only thing you may want to do is a pickup change.

i think that covers it

Re: RG1527 vs RG7620 vs RG2077XL

I saw a 2077XL for sale here in Portugal (Europe) for 1.200€. Isn't that too much even considering it's a hard to find guitar? Although the guy says it has a set of Blazes, wich seems to be an upgrade to the stock pickups.

As far as the bridges, I don't know any of those two.

it is mint, acording to the ad. I'm still torn between an Ibanez and a Loomis. Specially for the cleans...

about the pu's, the guy says it has the stock Blazes, but here on jemsite it says they're Dimarzio7's. Is it the same thing?

Re: RG1527 vs RG7620 vs RG2077XL

Dimarzio New 7s = Dimarzio 7s = Dimarzio Customs etc etc

There were never blazes in any Ibanez other than the UV series. It was a misprint in the Ibanez catalogs.

Also the RG7620 has imo the best trem in the Ibanez Edge Lo-Pro. The 1527 and the 2077xl share the newer Edge Pro.

You could always get a 1077xl if you can find one.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the 1527 is just Ibanez bringing back the 7620 line I thought, minus the lo-pro 7. And just a name/number change..

Basically yes. They don't have Diamrzios too. But it's an easy swap!

That's what I thought. I have heard the neck profile is a tad different as well but I could be mis-speaking with that as well.
