There is a phase switch on the CTRL-X preamp (
http://www.lrbaggs.com/manuals/ctrl-x_manual.pdf) so if you think your having phase cancelling effects try switching it and it should go away.
I run my 2020x and 2027x through one stereo output and use a stereo cable (PW-GS-25) it makes life much easier on stage. To do this like the KJG mod you need to replace the two way toggle with a three way.
tThe mini toggel controls the direction and type of output. In position 1 the piezo signal goes out the right channel, position 2, piezos and magnetics go out the left channel, position 3 magnetics only go out the left channel and piezo is off. I then run a splitter box on the floor that sends all the right channel stuff to my acoustic amps/PA adn all teh right channel stuff to my guitar rig. Works a treat and gives you lots of room to play.
