RG7 in RG550LC Case?

Does anyone know if an RG7 will fit in an RG550LC case (the one shown below)? Ibanez bills it as a lefty case since it's not form fitting around the body (it's apparently just one big open compartment below the neck joint). If it's long enough to fit an RG7 it certainly would be convenient, because it's cheaper than a UV1000C.
