RG7 monkey grip

My new project:
RG7620 Mahogany body with monkeygrip and tilt input jack.
Chrome hardware
White Dimarzio Evolution (B) and Blaze (N)

Body is going to be oil finished,
but I haven't decided is it going to be dark or "honey".

Claws would be nice add but I just didn't do those. Maybe I do them if I find right tool for it.

I thought the 7620 had a basswood body?

Yes, stock body is basswood.
That one in picture is handmade mahogany body.

Great guitar!
Keep posting pics on the progress!

I think that natural finish would be really nice!

Re: RG7 monkey grip

I test fitted neck, bridge and old dirty strings today and I can say sure that mahogany has so much better sustain, than basswood. I'll post pics when something new happens. Maybe in this week. Now I think I should leave claws undone.
Transparent pickguard would be nice.
