RG7321 discontinued?!?

I looked in ibanez parts catalog, and from production years it said
from to
2000/11 2005/10

other models, however had the "to" blank

I guess it is going to be discontinued

BTW, what is ibanez parts catalog for?
Can i buy parts from them or is it just for knowing what parts are in which model and which models share some parts?

some, like me, need good affordable 7 strings too

if they are going to replace it with some rg7 with a non-trem bridge and 7 strings, i wont mind the change

Ah, damnit, I was hoping to buy one of these sometime. Looked good for a cheap 7 stringer, just to get into the ways of the 7th string.

i have ax7221 and hate the lack of ballance, and it also is 24 3/4 scale

I just saw the catalog for music 1 2 3, and they had the 7321 available.

The Ibanez parts catalog is there so you can buy replacement parts. Mind you, it isn't cheap and a lot of parts that do wear down are pretty generic.

There's tons of RG7321s floating around evilbay and everything because they're basically a beginner guitar and most people buy them because they want to try out something new. That means when they don't like it, you can buy it cheap!

The catalogs are there for the part numbers only, not to order parts from. The distributors here highly discourage trying to buy parts directly from them [although they willl in a pinch and you'll pay list price for them]. Parts or any other product orderring should be done through a dealer.

I've found the shorter scale to not be much of a problem... then again, I have a .065 flatwound for my B string. As for the ballance issue, I moved my foreward strap pin to the neck heel, which makes the guitar quite comfortable to hold.

Tighten up the tuners, put some .012 flatwounds on it, and you've got yourself a nice budget jazz axe, which I know you're all lookikng for. . .
