RG7420 size question

I was wondering, is the body of the RG7420 the same as the JEM or is it bigger? I have an extra ESP guitar case laying around and i was wondering if it would fit.

To my knowledge the body has the same size as a Jem.
But I'm not sure
Note that the guitar as a whole is a bit longer due to the extra string (extra tuning peg -> longer headstock)

Cheers,
Joten

Its just a little bit bigger, but if its not a tight fit for the jem, the seven should fit

on one of the dealer's online, they recommend the uv case for the rg7420. and if the jem fits in the esp case then the rg should also, right?

The rg and jem dimentions are virtually identical (body only). They come from the same typically guitar designed by vai .
