rg7620 with bubinga??

I was under the impression that the rg7620s did not have bubinga skunk striped necks, but under the jemsite info for this model, it shows a guitar in grey nickel with this. Does anyone have information about this and where it was available from? I am trying to figure out a few things about the rg7420s and rg7620s, things that did not come "Standard" on them like the colors (grey pewter rg7420) and bubinga skunk stripe. Thanks...

Whenever Ibanez started putting the bubinga reinforcement in their guitars, the 7620 got them as well. I believe it was 1999? Not sure though. I have owned 7620's with and without bubinga, so they are definitely around.

i own one RG7620 with that skunk stripe, it's from April 2002

The 2000 RG7-620s got the stripe; at that point, the only colour available was the GN - BUT I have seen snapshot examples of Grey Nickel RG7s that did NOT have the stripe...
I would suspect those were from early 2000 production.
(Mine does have the stripe...)

I have an RG7620GN without the stripe but i got it in november 2001 if memory serves me right, i was hurt when i saw one at guitar center with it, cause they look waay cool.

that stripe also re-inforces the neck strength
