RG7620BSB (Burnt Stained Blue)
I've been working on this for a couple of days now. I am in the process of tung oiling it as we speak. I need you guys' opinion, though. Pickguard or no pickguard? Yea yea I know the Jems had one so it would make the most sense to put one on there, but I was wondering what you guys thought of how it looks as is... I have ebonized the freboard but I don't have any pics of it with the neck just yet.
Also, if you think I SHOULD throw a pickguard on this beast should I go with a mirror or a smoked mirror? (Maybe some other color...?)

Re: RG7620BSB (Burnt Stained Blue)
a mirror pickguard would look best IMO but if you decide not to have one put a clear pickguard on for the paints sake

Re: RG7620BSB (Burnt Stained Blue)
the mirror is very tempting. i have a clear one now that doesn't quite fit and that one looks good as well, i may have to flip a coin on this thing hehe. here are some more pics. the neck and bridge aren't really attached.

Come on man, that guitar is already beautiful. If you put a pickguard, the pickguard will grab everybody's attention, instead of the body color.
There are already too many RGs with pickguards. Be original!!

I'd go with no pickguard too! Really nice effect! You're really handy with that heat gun!

Re: RG7620BSB (Burnt Stained Blue)
That burnt stained red is sexy. Is that a DIY job too? I really really like that. And are those dual duncan invaders in that thing? Good lord! I was considering a green but I thought it would look too much like the regular ones. I wanted it to look a little different.
