Has anyone ever played one of these? How's the sound with the mahagony body? Do you know where I can find one?

Yes, Yes, Yes and Yes.
It's not a bad
sounding guitar
. There are only 12 or so. My drummer has one sitting in his closet at home. (His father owns a
music store
here in Maine, he just hasn't decided what he's doing with it. )
It's for sale, unfortunatly, because of it's rarety, he has it stuck in his head that he can get some serious $ for it. It list for like $999.99 I believe, and I know he wants over list. If your really serious about it, check out MainelyDrumz.com, you can contact him through there.
I like the neck, I've played it a few times. The finish isn't bad, if it had a Floyd, it'd be 10x better, and I'd own it by now.

I have emailed MainlyDrums, but they haven't answered yet, I got some pics from getthis(thank you btw) and this guitar sure looks great, I wonder why Ibanez didn't fabricate more of them.

I read that pics were already sent, so I didn't bother, but I can definitely take them soon and post them up if it's still wanted.

not anymore, i just like collecting pics of certain guitars. if i was still after the MBOL i would already have one.
right now i'm looking forward to getting one of the new baritone 7's(really just the prestige one if it's any good), the rg2027vv or a couple rg7620's. i also want to see if line6 will introduce an updated
POD Pro
so i don't waste my money on the current one.

I live in Europe, and the baritones are hanging around here for half a year or so, you must realize that it is almost impossible for them to play them in normal tuning.
You said : if i was still after the MBOL i would already have one.
Do you mean that you know places where they have another Mbol?

i haven't seen one for sale since they were released. i say one on ****, and two or three online through some ibanez dealers. i know eastcoastmusic had one, but can't remember the other(s).
why would the baritones be hard to play in standard tuning? i've played other baritone guitars and they didn't give me any problems.
and what was the standard tuning they used on the ones you played?
