I suppose it stays in tune better when the strings don't slip slightly in the locking nut at every string attack. Makes sense to me at least!

That is Awesome! - it looks like one from the Fake Ibanez brochure someone had photoshopped that was going around - maybe that brochure inspired something! Very impressed!

I'll hunt down that thread and add it for reference

It's Buzz from Unearths Ibanez LACS.

Essentially same specs as a RG2228 with a carve top and altered pot layout. Also the headstock is reversed.


And soundclips indeed, would be excellent.
