Not true. The extended scale is great for making sure you don't have a super flubby low B string. I wouldn't recommend anything but the long scale at this point, since 25.5" on my personal 7 has been a massive disappointment. GREAT for the first 6 strings, but that 7th string is just a flubby mess, even with a ****ing .066 low B

Proably due to the longer scale neck? That would be my guess. Body work is more involved than an RG too, more time making it.

i say get the 1527. ive never had any problems with the b string on mine (not saying GuitarBizarre is wrong, im just saying ive never had that problem). its a quality guitar, it can do everything the RGD can do and more and its cheaper. however, i also forgot, you are also losing that cutaway that makes it REALLY easy to get to the higher frets but the 1527 still has great access.

+1
I play from clean to metal and sometimes with different tunings.
About that flubby low b thing I never had it,I use 0.9 and even with lower tunings(down to A or G#) never had that problem.
Never had any problem.
If you like how it looks and if you have the money,go for it.
Unless you have bad luck and buy one with a factory problem,it'll never let you down

Well, I ordered the guitar yesterday, but you're just going to have to wait for the NGD thread to see which one, even if you don't care about it.

Regardless of which you got it should be a great guitar after a pickup swap

Re: RGD2127 vs. RG1527 vs. anything else
Lucky me, the guys called on thursday saying that it was shipped on monday, the day they put in the order, rather than this monday, like it was supposed to be.
that means one 2 days left

Re: RGD2127 vs. RG1527 vs. anything else
damn, they shipped the wrong guitar(a 2228? how the heck did they make that mistake?) to the supplier, so NGD's been moved to mid-march for now until my guitar's finished(not just sending it from Japan, they're building it now
).
seriously, an rg2228?

Why do you people keep ordering from the wrong dealers?
