Well, I called the dealer about the ETA on the guitar, they called Ibanez about the ETA, and for whatever reason they moved the final arrival to June 15th. Seriously Ibanez? So I cancelled the order(the guys at the dealership were bummed out at losing business because of something outside of their control), and convinced my dad that not all online retailers are crooks. So now my order is going to be placed with Rich(either today or next weekend).

But seriously, June 15th? now they're just messing with me.

Yeah, no guitar but still great weather. Until then I'm just entertaining myself with whatever's at the local guitar center/best buy(since when do best buy stores have a music section?)

rg7620s have edge lo pro trems w locking studs... a better tremolo in my humble opinion. RG7620!!!

also can be found for cheap if youre lucky. i bought one for 550 and one for 100 w/o pickups or electronics..............

Personally, I love the stylings and feel of the RGD2127z. It plays beautifully and it feels and looks like pure evil.

jet9, sorry your thread got hijacked by 6finger's picking an arguement with random jemsiters...ive been seeing that trend with that guy lately lol

but yes, i have played both, and the both are great. physically the scale length will require no adapting, i personally would go rg, but thats just what im used to.
but oh well, thats just my opinion, so i guess you cant base anything off of that....

Dude everything in life is about personal tastes so what's good to one is crap to another.
Both guitars are good but you have to try so asking to strangers about guitars,cars,clothes,colors,food and............chicks is a waste of time.
Even if you can't try them still strangers opinions work for nothing.

Amen to that. I love my RG1527 with Petrucci pups tuned to BEADGBE. Others like different pups - some like the stock ones - and like to detune. As long as we are happy with our tone and setup that is what matters.
