It will all depend on where its made.

If its an import, or if its a USA model. If its the latter, it will of course be more expensive. And looking at the picture, it looks like a USA made axe judging by the quality. But I dont know whether they will bring out a more 'affordable' import version of it or not.

Yeah, I saw that one too, and thought it looked pretty cool.
Its about time they gave him a signature model though, it has been well overdue for him thats for sure.

Re: Rusty Cooley Dean

This looks MUCH better than the red one!
Nice and mean looking instrument..
But, head is a bit big..but, maybe i am just too used to Ibanez..
And one of the nicest inlays ever..
Gee, i was also having an idea of similar inlay..blank till 12th..then circular pattern at 12th..
Anyway, i dont have money to do that on my 7620..

Re: Rusty Cooley Dean

I wonder if gibson/zakk wylde is gonna say anything about that dean "splittail." Looks like Dean might have beat them to the punch (even though it looks kinda ugly). I read an article about 6 mos back with wylde saying gibson was working on the same exact thing for him, sg top with v tails. At least I think it was the gibson custom shop.

Re: Rusty Cooley Dean

Me thinks this might actually be an import model. I don't see why Dean would put a low TRS-pro trem on this guitar if it was made in the US. Still, I'd probably buy one.

The inlays are cool, just needs a better trem and some tape to cover up the RC7. (It's a LOT better looking than that red prototype he had.)

Re: Rusty Cooley Dean

pretty sure that is an import , but it may not be rusty said he had a takguici (sp) low profile on his signature US model .
