Yeah - he swapped it out shortly after he picked this one up. It originally came with an OFR.

eird.

Anyways, his Dean Signature is pretty much the best guitar ever made for shred so he may sell you all his other guitars!

Couldn't of they made a six string for us normal people?

Re: Rusty Cooley's Jackson 7 string

There's been rumours of a Cooley 6-String, although i don't see the point considering you can't play 1 of his songs without a 7-String.

Re: Rusty Cooley's Jackson 7 string

there will be a six string version and an eight string version from dean eventually.

the thing to consider here is not the fact the ALL of Rusty's songs are 7 strings. What needs to be considered is the Rusty has made some amazing designs to the new dean guitar that will give aspiring shredders the opportunity to play fast with a guitar right out of the box. the neck design, the cutaways, the pickups, the wood selection..

whether its a 6,7, or 8 string these features are all great.

and yes i know Rusty. i talk to him 4-5 times a week as well as take lessons and provide all of his computer support so when i say there will be a six string take my word on it.. thats from his mouth not mine...

How about a 9-String with Low-F# & High-A?

Also, why did he sell his Conklin Sidewinder?!!!

I saw that on e-bay but it was just a bit out of my pricrange! Lol.

He sell that, 'cause he say that it was too much 9 string.

A guy on www.sevenstring.org bought that, his nick it's chris9.

here it is, and with his collection, and a new LGM LevIIIathan.

Because he said that 9 was too much.

A guy of SS.org bought his 9 Conklin.

Re: Rusty Cooley's Jackson 7 string

Just noticed that this guitar (the Jackson 7) is up for auction. Had to do a double take when I saw the Edge 7 on a Jackson. Did a search here on Jemsite and found this thread. I would think that Jackson would be pissed to see an Ibanez trem on one of their endorsee customs.
