So...$800 is a high price for a 6string Saber, but is that too much to ask for a S5407? I mean it's a rare one made in '91 and it's over ten years old at this point...
I guess my point is this...my S5407 has been sitting under my bed in a case for years (I'm trying to keep it as mint as possible). Anyway I want to get a
Mesa Recto, and I've been thinking about selling it (and other things) to help pay for the amp. Problem is I don't know what is a good price to sell it for, and what's too much too ask for it. I don't want to rip anyone off, but I'm poor and need the $$ for the amp.
I do know that the flamed blue one went for about $1,000 new at Guitar Center, and mine went for about the same when I bought it in '94. Is $1,000 too much to sell it for?

PS things on their way out to make $$ and room for the Recto (and a new guitar) are this:
**Ibanez SF420 - black pearl (GC special) w/ hipshot d-tuner and Duncan JB in the bridge. Currently a F-spaced Duncan Custom is in the neck. W/ case
**Charvel Fusion 4 - black w/ floyd. (My first guitar) 24.75" scale. Highly stickered and busted Charvel case to accompany if desired.
**Custom Star body -
Candy apple red. Looks like an Ibanez Destroyer/Dimebag Darrell model, but classier. W/ gig bag.
