There was a S2020 but that was a 6 string.

That woould be sweet if they had one, but I've never even heard of it.

Anything's possible, with the number of different markets that Ibanez has.

S2027

I've never heard of and/or seen that one - not here, on the Ibanez US site, the Ibanez Japan site, or Ishibashi's.... *

The only double-edge equipped 7's of which I'm aware are the RG2027, RG2127, and the RG7CST.

But, as Polaris20 pointed out, that's not to say it's not out there somewhere.

it would have been the model to have, that's for sure. What color(s) was it? I'd be interested to hear about it if you remember anything about it.

S2027

I haven't seen ANY evidence of it's existence but I did read a web page(it was in japanese so as much as I could read) that listed a S2027 but the link sent me to a pic of a S2020x. the next day I went back and the web page was corrected saying S2020x.

but if there is or was one, let me know cause I'm still extremely intersted in buying a nice(read prestige) S 7-string with or without the piezo trem......

S2027

Hmm... Then again, I COULD be wrong... but I distinctly remembered it to have a burst finish, similar, but yet very different to the S2020... More natural wood grain showing, and a more orangy colour in the stain... Then again, like I said, I could have been mistaken...

IF, it never existed, then I'd really wonder why... I remember noticing the following year, that it no longer existed. And I believe it debuted the same time as the RG2027. Just that the latter has survived till now...

S2027

I can honestly say, I have no recollection (or picture) of an S-series 7 with piezos. The only S7's I can find are the S7420, and the 540S7.

Cheers,
Butch
