Anybody got one? What do you think of it? I'm looking for a non-FR 7string for alternate tunings (too hard to do it on my 1527 even with the tremol-no locked).

I was going to get one, but couldn't justify it as I already have a Loomis. IMO it is the best deal on a hardtail 7 string out there. I mean for $699 you get Mohogany neck and body, Blackouts, ebony board, tone pros bridge, graphtech nut, grover tuners, etc. The only thing I don't like about the ATX is the 3 knobs. But can't beat it for the price. We all know Ibanez makes nothing comparable. The Loomis TOM would also be a good choice. If like me you prefer a maple board and only one volume knob.

Loomis model looks great but I prefer dark fingerboards (ebony at this price is insane!).
I always wanted to ask: where are they made in?

Korea. But they are very well built. As good as any Japanese Ibanez I have seen. Well the Loomis at least. Never actually put my hands on the ATX.
