So, my quest began going through the endless pages of the internet to find the instrument that would suit me (more precisely my wallet). so i went to ESP and saw good things, and went to BC Rich and saw better things, but Ibanez caught my heart when the RG7CST came out, piezo mahogany body and ebony Fretboard, but fate has it that it is over 2grand and very rare............ so now with a grand in hand, what do u suggest?

What about the RG7421XL?
I just ordered one today from the local store. My buddy that works at the store called the distributer(Chesbro?) and said there are only 4 left(well, 3 now ) at the distributers. I'm sure some other online places have some for relatively cheap.

A used RG2027XVV (As close to as a CST as you're gonna get) or PERHAPS! If Ishibashi has one (didn't last I checked) a RG2127.

You can get a RG8527 from Ichee-Bachee for $1400-1500, I think. It's got a Maple top like the CST, but no piezos-so I guess it's more like the CT.

Keep an eye out for a slightly used 2027. That's probably your best bet for now.
