Cool

Sevenstring.org's Free Music Streamin'

I hope this isn't considered too spammy, may I forever play a Kramer Focus if it is.

Anyhow, I run sevenstring.org, and I'm doing free streaming for bands and solo guys using seven string or other ERG instruments off of my site in the Member Jukebox. If anyone's in a band, plays a seven, and wants to have your stuff submitted, sign up, PM me or submit your tracks and I'll add it right away. There's a couple of stipulations (eg: it has to be an actual song) but nothing outrageous.

Anyone else, you're welcome to sign up and have a listen to what the guys over at ss.org have to offer. Hit sevenstring.org, click on Jukebox and check it out.

For those who don't care to sign up, but want to listen anyhow, You can hit it right here without registering.

I have no bandwith constraints, so play until your heart's content.

- Chris

Sweet, so thats you? umm...if its not a silly question, which one of Jake or Shawn are you? Or are you someone else entirely on there?

Sorry if that's a really dumb question and everyone except me knows who you are, I haven't been keeping up with the forum for the last year-lots of other stuff going on

He's Shawn. There's some mad talentented players out there, and I'm actually really impressed with Chris's singing voice.

Re: Sevenstring.org's Free Music Streamin'

I was just about to write this post, then realised you were called Drew, and you might be the person I'm writing about, and it would seem like flagrant brown-nosing, so I'm going to apologise for that, and write out the post as it was in my head 5 minutes ago!

"REALLY cool site, im listening to the streaming all the time now! Another guy I didn't mention earlier is Drew Peterson-Alien Love Child is AMAZING, especially when it kicks into the main double stopped high riff-wow!! love it!"

Now if that is you, Drew, I'm not trying to get into your pants, I promise! Just a really cool song!

Re: Sevenstring.org's Free Music Streamin'

Hahaha, it's me, and as you're male and across the ocean from me, getting in my pants might be a bit tricky...

Thanks though! it's a pretty simple line, just a mix of harmonized 3rds and 4ths... I actually can remember cutting the rough demo for that one up at college, finishing off the main melody section, and knowing I wanted it to kick in, but having NO idea what to do. So, I went out for lunch, and walking back to my room that melody popped into my head. Went back to my room, picked up the guitar, hit record, and there it was.

Glad you enjoyed it!
