single-coil

I'd like to have a single-coil in the neck position of my 2027x. I once saw one of these babies on evilbay, with an Anderson single-coil in the neck. Anyone here tried doing this?

never done that exact swap myself, since an H/S setup wouldn't leave all the coil cut combinations that i use, but i can say that the single coil sounds from my H/S/S 540S7 are really phat. i run Rio Grande Muy Grande 7 string single coils in that guitar and in my Strat VII and they sound fantastic -- a bright, thick pushed single coil sound. if you're in the market for a 7 string single coil, definately check out Rio Grande.
