So I saw an ad in GuitarWorld not too long ago for Ibanez Premium guitars (It's the one with Marc Okubo from Veil of Maya), and I noticed the guitar that he was pictured with in the ad, he had removed the tone knob and now the guitar has a switch and a volume. Well he plugged the tone hole with some sort of plastic plug.
Well after searching the internet for about a day or two, I've finally found the plug that he used or a plug that is very similar. It was kind of a pain in the ass to find. But if you're interested in doing what Marc did and what I'm about to do, you can find the plugs here:

About my mod:
I don't use a tone control at all unless I'm playing a Strat, and even then it's very rare that I use it. I like to venture away from metal from time to time and explore other music, but I always come back home to metal, so with my
S7420, I don't use the tone or all of the 5 selections of a 5-way switch. With that being said, I'm getting rid of the tone control on my S7420 and replacing the 5-way switch with a 3-way. But I don't want a hole in my guitar where the tone "use" to be. The
hole plug solves that problem. I've just never really been all that interested in coil splitting or reverse polarity... Just my own personal preference....
My S7420 has a LiquiFire 7 in the neck position and a CrunchLab 7 in the bridge position. I'll post pics when im through if anyone is interested in seeing it. I know its a small mod, but its what I want to do.
I realize a lot of this is useless information...lol, but I did want to get it out there where any of you could find these plugs if you're interested in this same mod.
