Hey guys I'm kind of new here. I just wanted to show you all some of my axes. I think a few of them are kind of cool and maybe you might think so too. I'm currently in the middle of refinishing an RG7620. I'll post pics when I finish with that.

I'm curious about the first one too...looks like a burntburst (just came up with the term!)!

first one is indeed a burnburst (that's what i call it too!) i took a heat gun to it. basically i didn't know about that layer of sand sealer right before the wood. i was attempting a BSB type of thing but it ended up doing that because it melted the sand sealer and turned that color. i got lucky.

specs are as follows...

burnburst:
Dimarzio X2N, Blaze Bridge (in the neck) w/ a 3-way toggle

swirl:
Dimarzio Evolution 7, Blaze Neck w/ 3-way blade selector and kill button (not yet wired. i need to stop procrastinating on that)

RG7421 cherry fudge:
Dimarzio blaze custom, custom black mirror pickguard.

the 7620 i'm currently refinishing is stripped down (past the sand sealer this time haha!) and i'm staining it blue then i'm going to tung oil it. i'm putting a Dimarzio DSonic7 and Liquifire in that one.
