Sonic Qualities of Cherry Wood

I was just checking out the conklin site.
Those GTG 7T's sound like good guitars, for a decent price. I was just wondering what kind of sound the cherry body has.

And for those who have played on the groovetools guitars, what did you think of them?

i once read a review at harmony central
it said the axe lacked bottom end. anyway with a tone zone 7 it could do it.

Re: Sonic Qualities of Cherry Wood

I dont think it lacks bottom end at all, I own one of those Conklins, and its the one that gets played most. I put a Dimarzio Blaze in the bridge but thats about it for mods.

Its probably one of my favorite guitars to play out of all I own...
