String gauge for low A tuning???

Hey, I tune down my 7 string (RG 7620 2 emg 707's) down a whole step ADGCFad. And I use 11-50 for the first 6 strings and a 62 for the 7th, the first 6 strings sound good to me but the 7th still is a bit dull sounding, it sounds lazy and not prominent enough in chords (doesn't ring out either) it just drops dead after a few seconds... I must have a defined sound (we play metal like behemoth, nile... pretty chaotic stuff) Before I give up hope of this tuning EVER sounding good and tune back to Bb. What string gauge do you guys suggest? How about a .070? Is this going to give me some more definition, punch and clarity? Is this even possible on my guitar, considering it has got a lo pro edge trem?
Hope to hear from you guys soon...

Brord.

Hi,
I used to play .10 - .60 on that tuning.

You could try a .70 ? .12 - .70

Well I was planning on using a 70 for that low A. But I don't know if that is even possible on a lo pro edge trem?????
