String spacing?

Hi! I've got some questions about string spacing...

I'm quite happy with my edge pro 7, and also never experienced any problems with the lo trs on my 7420. But still, i would like to be able to play a 7 string guitar without the patience a floyd rose system demands.

So, time for a custom guitar. I've asked here before about the hipshot trem and it should be a very nice trem, but how about string spacing? Will it feel the same as my ibanez trems? What actually is string spacing on ibanez trems? Can't find any info anywere. Hope you guys can help me out...

Is the hipshot string spacing (i mean the distance from one string to another at the bridge saddles) the same as on a edge pro or lo pro?
