Trading Ltd EC 1000 for a Ibanez RG 1527
Hello I'm new to this Forum. My name is Angel and I'm from Puerto Rico. I'm willing to trade my Ltd EC 1000 for a Ibanez RG 1527.
The EC 1000 is in perfect condition, It's been with me for about 5 months. The guitar color is amber sunburst and is loaded with
Seymour Duncans
(a JB at the bridge and a 59 at the neck). It features a carved mahogany body and a set in 24-3/4" scale neck with
rosewood fretboard
adorned with abalone flags. Neck, headstock, and body binded plus abalone decorates the edges of the body and neck. It has Spetzel locking tuners, Earvana nut, and TonePros locking bridge and tailpice which enormously help the guitar's intonation. Volume/Volume/Tone and three way switch. A totally versatile guitar and also lightweight.
Here is a pic:

I'm willing to trade since I barely use it. I'm more into 7-strings and lower stuff. Great guitar for tight rhythm and epic shreding with the JB. Clearly warm and crystalline clear with the 59. Awsome as it can be. I'll be waiting for a Reply. Thank You!

Re: Trading Ltd EC 1000 for a Ibanez RG 1527
Welcome to the Forum Angel.
It looks like a nice guitar but your problem is going to be that it's not really the sort of guitar an Ibanez user would go for, especially one that is currently playing a 7 string.
Surely it would be a better idea for you to sell the LTD and use the money to buy an RG1527 ?
Good Luck with your search.

Im an Ibanez 7-string player for nearly 8 years now and I have to say that they are the best guitars all around.
I would trade. The 1527 is an attractive guitar.

I totally agree about the Ibanez 7's Flo but the guy is looking to swap his LTD (budget ESP)
Les Paul
type guitar for a 1527.He's not saying he's been offered a 1527.
I don't think you'd go for that would you?
Either you've mis-understood my post or i've mis-understood yours. Either way i'm confused,lol.

Thank's for welcoming me and answering.
What I really meant was to trade the EC1000, which is practically new, for a used RG 1527 (not a really beat up one). I'm going to post some pics of it soon. You will see it's really in a perfectly good condition.
Thank's again guys!

I would much rather have an Ibanez RG 1527 7-string than an ESP LTD EC1000.

I wouldn't go for it either; it's missing a string (I am done with buying more 6 strings).
But it's not exactly budget; it's the EC1000 Deluxe, which actually sells for more $$$$ new than the RG1527 does. So he stands a decent chance of selling it on Evilbay and getting a used 1527 for the same price or so.

Definitely!
You might even get lucky and find a reasonable used 1527 and end up with a bit of change that way.

Re: Trading Ltd EC 1000 for a Ibanez RG 1527
If nothing else, a clean RG7620 can be had for $400 or so, and it's not really all that different than the 1527.
I have an RG1527, and recently played a fellow SS.org member's 7620, and really, there ain't a lot of difference, especially quality-wise, which I believe to be the same.
Sure the 2005 1527 doesn't have a
scarf joint
, but that's not that big a deal.
