I think for $50 more you can buy a 7620, and that's a no brainer of a decision.

I never could get used to the trems on my RG7420 when I had it. It was a great first 7 string for me but that bridge just felt way too rubbery. I blocked it for awhile and that semeed to help out some. But I eventually sold it becuase I realized that I'd of had to change the pickups to get a good sound out of it.

For $300 I'd say you can do better than a RG7420. The 7-string market is in freefall currently and I've personally picked up an RG7620 for $250 and saw an RG7420 last weekend for $200 at Guitar Center...the home of price-gouging. Additionally there's alot of higher-end mass production 7's that can be had for cheap money. I picked up my UV777BK for 8 bills, Schecter C7+'s can be had for under 3 as well and they're amazing 7 strings; all the extras and the fun of a set-trem.

Ebay's the only place I know of. Or watch the classified's section of Jemsite.
